Whale season is from mid-December thru mid-April, you can book this tour all year round but to travel only during the Whale Season (Dec 15 thru April 15th). Enjoy 2 hours spectacular adventure looking for whales, who travel thousands of miles each year to their traditional breeding grounds on the Sea of Cortez. The whale you're most likely to see during this adventure is the Humpback, this are very acrobatic, you can spot them from miles away as they splash when breaching, an adult whale can measure up to 40 feet long. The second you can expect to encounter during your trip is the Gray Whale this are around the same size as the humpback whale. Luxury and Adventure can be combined, the tour will be on a Luxury Sail Catamaran Boat with a reduced group having in mind your safety and comfort.
Tour will ride around the Bay of Cabo San Lucas so you can visit the emblematic Arch and witness it's impressive nature.

Great experience on board the catamaran. We stopped by the arch/lovers beach on the way out and then out to see whales. On the way in we saw dolphins as well.

We were picked up at out hotel before time. Our time was 8:50 we arrived at the lobby 8:35 intending to get a coffee but the driver was already there looking for us. So we didn’t get the coffee we wanted. The driver made two more stops and filled the van to the brim before making the 2 min drive to the marina. We were made to wait until about 9:30 until the lady at the office checked everyone and we all paid $5 dock fee. Which I don’t understand. It’s not my boat why am I and the rest of the people paying dock fee for your boat? We followed them to the boat. It was nice, well kept and the staff was pleasant. The best thing about this tour was the size. There were actually 16 people in the group as advertised. There was an open bar with juice and drink choices. We saw no marine life other than some sea lions from afar. We looked at the arch from very far away, didn’t go close and lovers beach. Literally the bartender/guide pointed from far oh that’s that. We saw some dolphins in while making our way back around 10:45 and one whale tail one time. The poor whale was being chased by about 40/50 boats and at that point I literally just wanted everyone to leave the poor creature alone. Was really hoping to see some whales as promised. We didn’t drink other than a glass of juice so almost $350 for an hour boat ride did not seem worth it to me.

It was a great trip. Only giving three stars because of the cost of the digital photos. It wasn’t disclosed up front on how much they cost. One of the members in my group did ask what the cost was and the photographer did not answer. So then, the person who got the photos thought they complementary. After they were uploaded to his phone, they came back and asked for $65 for 16 digital photos. And on one photo the file was way to small that you can’t print it. Felt like he was taken. Yes, I know nothing is free. But the cost should have been stated right up front and the question not ignored when the photos were viewed not after they were already uploaded on his phone. Not a very honest way to do business. Also, was disappointed that the sail was not up…trip is called “Luxury SAILING Whale Watch & the Arch”.
