Went out with Cabo Adventures…
Captain Chuy and guide RICHARD and photographer (so sorry I don’t remember his name) we’re great!!! We were put right in view of a couple pods. They truly prepared us for what the Zodiac ride would feel like and even made a special stop alee a special mansion and at the arch. Big two thumbs up to them and the breaching whales for making our annual Snowbirding Christmas trip memorable.

One of the best adventures our family has been on to date!!! We were able to see tons of hump back whales up and personal! In addition, we were also lucky to see a sea turtle swimming around too....I would highly recommend this adventure if you are in Cabo in March. Our guide was very knowledgeable and knew how to find them!

Our captain was Julio and our guide was Fernando. There was no guarantee of whales but after we saw lovers beach and arch rock, it wasnt 15 minutes and we had our first siting followed by many over the 2 hr period. Thr migration will be over sokn but there were still many calves and moms training to make their journey North. We also saw dolphins and Mantas. We were in a zodiac boat which has a lot more maneuverability than other options and the morning tour reduced the number of boats in the water doing the same thing. By 11am there were too many other boats which tends to scare the whales. Fernando was super i formative abt whale behavior and Julio had a great hamdle on the boat and eyes to spot the whales.

Lots of fun. Fernando and Julio were able to find the whales even though it was late in the season and migration had begun. Still saw many, running alongside a pair at one point.

We always do whale watching with Cabo Expeditions, they are dependably good. The 4 rather than a 5 rating is because on this trip we had just the Captain on our excursion, no photographer or guide to tell us about what we were seeing. Also, the captain did not even have time to offer us water. We did see 2 whales and followed them during the entire trip. We were close enough that we heard them make a loud noise when they broke the surface of the water!
