Lovely hidden beach

It is definitely a hike. Wear proper footwear. But we were able to do it with a 5 year old and carried a 3 year old. The guides were very patient with all my kids and it was a lovely beach and experience for all.

We did the hidden beach snorkeling trip and had such an amazing time that we booked whale watching while we were still on the beach with them!
We had our 5 &7 y/o boys with us on a family trip and were so lucky to have found Belem, Ani and Mariana!
The snorkeling was perfect and the cove was sheltered and gentile place for our kids to practice snorkeling and swimming in the water. We felt safe in their care. Ani made the guacamole on the beach while we took a break and it was delicious!
The whale watching was EPIC!! Tale & fin slapping and breaching were in abundance! It was so special! Belem is an awesome captain and ensured we had a great show from a respectful distance. And they are so knowledgeable! Who wouldn't want a guided tour from Oceanologists and a Biologist!?
You can tell these ladies really care about the animals and this beautiful planet we share with them. I'm telling everyone I can about this woman owned and run business and the kick ass time we had with them. We need more people like this in the world.

Family of 4 here from Seattle, WA. We were looking for a snorkeling trip that would be enjoyable and suitable for our 5 & 7 year old boys to accompanyus on and this group is it!!
Belem & Annie were super! Far exceeded our expectations. The meeting point was easy to find (we had our own car) and the hike was easy for us and our kiddos. We had the whole beach to ourselves. The waves were very gentile in this cove, so our kids could swim after they had enough with the snorkeling.
We saw lots of beautiful fish and tons of corals! Half-way through we took a break and Annie made us some delicious guacamole and we had a beer to wash it down

Best snorkel trip ever!

This is a wonderful snorkel trip! You provide your own transportation to Chileno beach, easy to UBER If you don’t have a car. Go to the parking lot and they will meet you there with snorkel equipment, umbrellas and beach chairs. The beach is right there with lots of boats on snorkel tours But you move on to your your own little hidden beach. In Oct, our party of four and our tour guides were the only ones there!
If you are a beginner, don’t worry as they are very patient getting you comfortable and no leaving you behind. One of them Will snorkel ahead to find areas good for fish sightings. We saw tons of fish from beautiful large orange angel fish to schools of gorgeous fish. Lots of variety of fish and they don’t scamper to hide from you as the fish are very comfortable with humans. The day we went it was very calm and the water was very clear.
Once you have had enough, it is out of the water to settle in your beach chair with cerveza and freshly made beach side guacamole! Delicious! The walk to the hidden beach is rocky so wear sturdy shoes that can get wet. This was a great trip and they are naturalists so the trip is very informative as well!

Private beach snorkeling

This is the best way to snorkel! The private beach that only locals know about was magical. Highly recommend!
The only slight difficulty was finding our way back from Chileno Bay. We took Uber there/back but it took a long time to find one for the return trip. Next time we'll arrange ahead of time for the Uber to pick us up (I think there is also a bus).
