Our private dive tours give you a chance to depart early and escape the crowd in busy Cabo San Lucas. You can also select a slightly later time if you prefer to sleep in! This tour is particularly suitable for very advanced divers and very new divers. We want advanced divers to dive according to their air consumption rate and comfort level and not have to accommodate others on the boat that might limit the dive. For very new divers you have a free refresher included and we go at your pace and very easy locations - if you wish! It's totally your call. In addition, our guides have a guaranteed minimum experience level of at least 6 months working as a guide in the local area with at least 1 year working as a dive professional. Our crew are very conscious of human impact on the environment and for this reason all of our tours are conducted in an environmentally responsible way.

- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

The crew at Cabo Private Guide are fantastic--super friendly and knowledgeable! I had 2 amazing back to back days with CPG. I booked a 2-tank dive (my first time diving in Cabo!) in The Corridor area and was paired up with Ana for the dives. She was very patient, helpful, and let me enjoy my time underwater. A fantastic buddy! I'm very much looking forward to diving a lot more with CPG.
I also booked a whale watching and snorkeling tour through CPG and Ana was able to join us as our guide! We did not get to snorkel but that's because we spent over 2 hours watching humpback whales breaching, fluking, and swimming near the surface. Crew from Baja Vikings ran the boat and did a fantastic job at getting us up in the action but also staying at a safe distance.

Cabo Private Guide was a great experience for me and my 15 yo Daughter. The booking could not have been easier to do online, and the communication was great with directions and information sent to me. We walked to the dive shop that was right next to our hotel (Tesoro) and we met our guide, Ana.
The shop is basically at the marina.
Ana was great! She communicated well and talked us through each of the dives with great detail and navigation prior to entering the water. She did such a great job with the dive brief that we probably could have done the dive alone. lol However, we wouldn't have seen nearly as much if we did.
Ana pointed out an amazing yellow seahorse, rays, eels, etc... Oh.. and Stonefish... Yes... amazing Stone Fish... several really large ones that were amazing to see up close.
Ana did a great job of taking videos for us and provided a link to the videos within a couple hours of our dive. She did an amazing job of that as well.
I have been diving since 1996, have hundreds upon hundreds of dives all over the World. My daughter is 15 and has been certified for 5 years and has well over 100 dives in several dozen locations throughout the Caribbean, Hawaii, USVI, Cozumel, Florida, and freshwater in the US...
I would rate Ana and Cabo Private Guides right up there with the best of them. It was well worth the price difference to have the boat to ourselves and not a group dive with other dives we don't know. While I enjoy meeting people and divers from all over the World, it is so nice to have the Ocean floor to ourselves and the marine life that you get to see is so much better when it is just us by ourselves instead of a dozen other people trying to see the same seahorse...
We had several interactions with Sea Lions that were a first for my daughter and something that she was hoping to see. She told Ana ahead of time that we wanted to see some sea lions, and Ana was on it! She took us to the first dive site and said this was our best chance to see them.... We watched them from up close for probably 10 min and my daughter was extremely happy.
Safety was a high priority. My daughter is a seasoned diver, but as a father of a teenager it is always nice to know that there is another person in the water just as concerned about her safety as I am. Being able to fill the paperwork and waiver out online prior to arrival was quite nice and made it so we didn’t have to fill forms out once we got to the shop.
Overall, Cabo Private Guides was professional, informative, extremely knowledgeable, and safe! I will be back, and I will recommend. Anytime I am in Cabo I will be diving with Cabo Private Guide.

My partner and I used their services on Wednesday Dec 7, 2022. The overall experience has been nothing less than amazing. Our dive guide -Ana was a delight. She was extremely helpful and made us very confident as it has been awhile since our last dive. From the moment we checked in everything was efficient and seamless. The dives were mind blowing with all the different things and species we saw underwater. I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

5 dives with Ana and 2 with Felipe. I added the last 2 dives to my trip because of the amazing time I had with the first 5. Ana was easy going and very professional. I'm a fairly inexperienced diver so her patience and guidance was excellent. Felipe is also an amazing divemaster. He's very knowledgeable about the area and pulls from his experiences from all over the world. Laura the owner, was very flexible with me and my last minute request for more dives. I highly recommend this shop and hope to return in the future. Thank you so much to everyone at Cabo Private Guide!!

Cabo Private Guide took great care of us on our first trip to the area. Their online booking and waiver process let us get the administrative work finished online before dive day, which is always nice. I emailed them copies of our dive cards ahead of time as well. We had a guide and an assistant for our group of four and everything was managed with care and safety. When we had some unexpected twists in our vacation planning, they worked with us to get our dives rescheduled in a way that made us both happy. Our whole family loved our guide, Felipe! He took a personal interest in choosing dive sites that suited the conditions and our preferences, and it showed. We would happily dive with Cabo Private Guide on our next trip.
