Metate Me Everytime

The only thing better than the food is Su your chef/instructor. She’s wonderful and teaches you about all the native plants you can use for cooking as well as healing.

The best cooking class in Cabos

We had so much fun taking this cooking class. The chef, Hector, and the staff were very knowledgeable and the food was amazing. We had one of the best food during this cooking class. It was fun to make ceviche and gordita. I would highly recommend this cooking class. Only caveat is that I wished they gave us a written recipe. I should have taken notes but forgot.....

Cooking class

We were a family of 5. The main dish and dessert were shared in 2s. This was a little weird/gross sharing food with a stranger across the table given there’s still Covid. Food was good but it was over 4 hours start to finish. Started by making a drink. Then we made ceviche. A while later (an hour) we pressed small corn tortilla for mini tacos and quesadillas. We stuffed the quesadillas but that was it. After that (probably another hour) we made a salsa. By the time the main course came (which we did not make), it was at the 3 hour mark. We had a pork shank which we split. Dessert came a while later which was a small cheesecake/flan type dish which was again split. Food was good. The space was just a little too small for 16 people.

good food just too long

way too long we expected 3 hours and it ran close to 4:15 we didn’t eat the main until after 9 pm food was good and good assortment the main dish was prepared by a chef not the students they didn’t have enough staff to handle the group
